This unit shows two videos. The first being a teacher that is rude to his students, he does not learn their names, he dismisses their questions and harshly corrects their mistakes. He also faces the board when speaking and does not encourage students to answer or ask open ended questions. His tone of voice is loud and harsh and does not use gestures to help or prompt the students. The students are unresponsive because of this. In the second video the teacher does a much better job at dealing with the students, he creates activities, learns their names,encourages them to answer by asking they questions and ending he question with their name. He creates a positive atmosphere and uses gestures. He also uses language that the students find easy to unsderstand and examples to makes what's he is asking clear . This unit was a great example of how the teachers atttoife can have an affect on student learning and experience.
