In this unit I learnt about different ways to manage a classroom.
Many ideas were shared about how to organise, manage and the class, while mainting a relaxed atmosphere.
The basic ideas of using eye contact, gestures and your voice were briefly introduced.
I felt that the \"giving instructions\" unit was very effective and useful. It explains simple steps, from using simple language to how to check instructions. During this learnt that it is useful to use language at a lower level that that being taught. Not only will it help students to easily understand instructions, but longer language wastes time.
Different ways of seating the students are all also useful, especially when considering the size of the class as well as the part of the lesson which the students are busy with.
Over all the unit gives many useful ideas and tips on how to manage the classroom, which is one of the valuable tools a teacher needs.
