This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit breaks down the different forms of future verb tenses. The future tense is very similar to the past and present tenses and follows many of the same patterns. There are some notable exceptions. The use of the \"going to\" tense and present tense in the future are explained. The unit also describe the usage and structure for each of these forms. As well the unit gives some examples of classroom activities to demonstrate the lesson to students. This unit is also a great refresher and makes me reflect on when I would choose to use certain tenses and to be conscious and able to explain to my students why I would make a certain choice. I think it is valuable to be aware of all of these different tenses because as a teacher you may not realize that you have used a form that you have not yet taught to your students. If you are aware of the level of your students then you can adjust the lesson appropriately for them.
