This unit is based on teaching special groups. Some of these special groups include: beginners, individual students, children, business people, and monolingual and multilingual classes. Students often fall into two or three categories as follows: absolute beginner, false beginner, adult beginner and young beginner. The teacher must know the tips such as to be aware of the students' needs and the arrangement of the class for teaching beginners. When teaching children, one must know that children need frequent changes of activities which are exciting and fun to stimulate their curiosity.
From this unit, I have learned some specific skills needed by the teacher to teach special groups. When teaching monolingual and multilingual classes, the use of the mother tongue should be avoided. This unit also urges me to always be prepared with all my teaching materials to teach these special groups especially business people.
