In this unit, I’ve learned how to plan lessons. First, I’ve learned the reasons to write lesson plans. The lesson plan is an aid to planning, a working document, and a record. Second, I’ve learned what a lesson plan should be involved with lesson structure, time, the balance of skills. Third, I’ve learned what should be included in a lesson plan. It includes like learner objectives, language point, teaching aids, procedure, phase, timing, and so on. And the last but least, I learned through the examples of lesson plans. From the examples, I have a clear view of how to write a good lesson plan and what is a good lesson plan. The lesson plans really impressed me.
Take the animal vocabulary lesson for example, the class level, language point, learner objectives, solutions, and even the procedure, phase, timing, and interaction are all written down. I’ve even learned how to teach a vocabulary lesson.
