I fully agree with the TESL course concept that ESA methodology is the most effective and the most logical one.
It is up to teacher to choose methods while teaching (taking a theme, students’ level of knowledge and other factors into consideration), but engaging your students into learning English from the very first minute of the lesson is the best option. Since students who got interested in this or that theme of the lesson will be more motivated in learning more about the language so that to be able to express themselves in the best advantageous way in the end of the lesson. So it is very important to generate interest in your students’ minds from the very beginning, then to teach them something new, to correct them where it is necessary and in the end to give them an opportunity to express themselves by using new information they have learnt about the foreign language with the use of this foreign language.
