Lessons are planned to give a logical sequence for lessons, as a working document, creates a record and used when a relief covers a lesson. A plan would include teacher name, date, time, class level, room, expected numbers and lesson content. Then learner and teacher aims, anticipated problems and solutions. The lesson would start with Engage - generating student talk about the subject to ascertain what they already know. Study - board work, concept and worksheets. The procedure for handing out worksheet is demonstration of the process, elicit a correct answer and give out sheet. The students should be able to complete the worksheet independently so the teacher is free to check progress, look for common errors, give feedback and correction. Correction should first be self-correction, then peer correction and finally teacher correction. Activate - students work in pair or groups with as much discussion as possible.
