This unit quiz was quite challenging for me, especially the questions 16-21 regarding the \"engage and practice\" portion of lesson planning. I did not feel like there was adequate information provided in the Unit to know the answers to these questions, and since it has been a while since I have done my previous TEFL course, I had trouble recalling the proper steps for this type of lesson plan. The example lesson plan given in the Unit did not seem like enough information for me. There was lots of other useful information in the unit, I did not realize there were so many disadvantages for using Course books and I will keep that in mind when creating lesson plans. I am glad to see that there are so many advantages to using Authentic learning material in the classroom. It is much more fun for the teachers and the students to have a class that involves real, authentic items to learn from instead of print outs from text books.
