I kind of liked how the grammar units summarised the essential pieces of grammar, combined them by similar types or by tenses (past, present, future). Phrasal verbs is, to be frank, my favourite topic when teaching English, followed by passive voice. I usually teach the common phrasal verbs rather early, because even the elementary students, who quite often come across some phrasal verbs, and know the individual words, find themselves very confused, sometimes up to a point of losing the motivation, when they can't completely comprehend the text they are reading. What's worse is that searching for individual words in the dictionary often yields no result to them. My favourite, and one that my students mostly have problems with, is 'to catch up'. By teaching phrasal verbs that students often 'come across' in their early learning steps, according to the feedback I received from my students, I help them progress much smoother.
