Unit 9 includes valuable materials: a completed sample lesson plan, blank lesson-planning documents, and some sample materials for grammatical lessons. It also includes guidance for lesson-planning, anticipating problems, and remaining flexible and consistent in the classroom. One goal of mine will be to always have very clear learner objectives and personal aims before the start of every lesson. A second goal of mine will be to have a clear, creative variety of teaching aids/materials available for any given lesson. Lastly, I wish the unit had included more pointers for building a sequence of lessons. I think it will be a challenge to build on each previous lesson without the aid of a curriculum specifically designed as such. Once I get a sense of the language level, age, and background of my students, I would like to be as prepared as possible to help them retain certain language points throughout an entire course.
