This unit gives a great foundation to understanding the attributes that will help to make me a good/great teacher and ways to better understand the students that you are teaching.
Understanding what students look for in a good teacher will only improve the success that i am able to provide them. I would like to be a kind, patient, motivating teacher who students view as an enthusiastic teacher who loves what she does.
This unit has also given me a greater understanding of the different levels that students enter a language course at and therefore allows me to think further ahead as to what level of teaching may best suit my teaching style.
One of the key highlights i will take from this unit is understanding a students motivations for taking the language course. I believe this will play a key role in being able to continually motivate each individual student and help me adapt my teaching style to best suit my learners needs.
