In this unit I have learned how to customize a business English course for each group of business clients. In this process, there are a few important steps to consider before developing a course. In first meetings I would need to give an assessment test to my students so that I can conduct the next step called a \"needs analysis.\" Then using both the results of the level tests and the needs analysis, I may separate the students into five possible different levels (Elementary to Advanced). Also based on their particular weaknesses and / or their particular needs, I would need to assess them individually, but this can also involve with private meetings with students and even their HR department. This approach is definitely a lot different and seems more challenging than the traditional ESL teaching approach. Then, I can finally design each lesson plan with suited Engage, Study, and Activate stages to complete a course syllabus.
