In this unit I learned the importance of integrated skills and more detail about receptive skills. In this lesson it went over the productive skills of speaking and writing. Its important that students learn the correct form and spelling in writing. Since many words sound similar in spelling but have different meaning. For example waist and waste. Waist meaning the human hips and waste meaning rubbish or trash. Therefore its important students know about these difference so they don't get confused or the wrong meaning of a word. Also its important for the teacher to let classes have a structure about fluency and accuracy. Both accuracy and fluency are important they just come into different stages of the lessons. Fluency allows students to be more creative and comfortable. While accuracy is more focused on producing correct language. These skills are vital in teaching students correct English and helping them develop and learn.
