This unit talks about the structure and uses of different types of future tenses: Future simple, future continuous, future perfect& future perfect continuous with an additional of the special use of various present tenses indicating future.
After completing this unit, I suggest that teachers have to put most efforts in clarifying the future tenses. Though future tense in generally appears to be easy, however details of each type of future tense can be confusing. For example, the use of Future simple VS going to future, the use of Future simple VS present simple indicating future meaning or the use of Future perfect VS future perfect continuous tense. In my opinion, more activities should be done in activate stage to consolidate learners' knowledge on the topic- role play and simulations. Different contexts set for role-playing and simulations may help learns to identify the use of different types of future tenses more easily.
