I'm really excited by the amount of progress I've made in teaching as I've been tutoring while taking this course online. I think I've learned a lot about how to address people's needs and add variety to my lessons. I would say my biggest challenge is learning what concepts to introduce and when. I oftentimes find myself having to back track while teaching a student because I am not in complete control over when and how much I am trying to teach them. I like the idea of having a multilingual class because it has the students all pretty much on the same playing field. I've heard from a variety of my students that this is highly effective. I also enjoy teaching children because of the forced variety. I find it is the easiest when they have something they are working towards, with some of them at least. Another one really enjoy playing word games and learns very fast. All of these are aspects of teaching and methods I am learning as I go.
