I found this unit to be quite difficult and came to the conclusion that I don't actually know as much as I thought. Although English is my Native language, it's actually hard. This unit covered past tenses; usages, typical mistakes made by students, and teaching ideas. I learned how to distinguish between each of the four past tenses; past simple, past perfect, past continuous, and past perfect continuous and how to teach students with the help of affirmative, negative and question style forms.Unit Fifteen breaks down different tests that teachers may utilize in order to determine the several facets of learning English. These facets are identifying a student's English level through a placement test, giving students a practice test, assessing progress and information retention through a progress test, and assessing how best to move forward using a diagnostic test. There are also external tests that may apply to students depending on their interests or necessities for learning English.
