This unit content was pronunciation and phonology.
I found the articulation section very interesting as to where the sounds come from in your mouth and throat and what part is being used hen and how.
I learned a lot about where to apply stress on certain words and sentences, even looking at all the different syllables and how to apply them.
Sound joining has four mayor section linking, sound dropping,sound changing and extra lettering.
This unit knowledge helped a great for teaching pronunciation and phonology.This unit firstly looked like Greek but once they started explaining the pronunciation and phonology i started understanding it. It gives different techniques to teach these different areas of pronunciation. The Phonemic symbols was a bit tricky at first but once i voiced the symbols it made more sense. It also helped to explain how to pronounce words by how words are articulated in the speech organ (mouth). I also found it helpful to exercise the words by speaking them and recognizing the are used in the mouth.
