Unit 14 shows proper ways to apply course books and teaching materials to the classroom. This unit teaches that it's good to be creative and make extra materials outside of the course books to go along with the lesson. You can teach with authentic materials to give students more confidence and help them apply their English skills to real situations. It's also important to not use the course book for the whole lesson because the students might become bored and lose interest.Unit 10 covers evaluation practices in terms of test evaluations to determine placement level and language proficiency, on going progress test to evaluate how the students are doing, diagnostic tests are given in the beginning to see what the students already know and what they are having trouble with and external exams given by higher learning institutions for non-native students to evaluation their understanding of the language that will be used during their course work.
