This chapter was a great help for reviewing terms in English grammar. As someone who grew up speaking, reading, and writing English, the use of words comes naturally at this point, but rehashing the actual vocabulary and rules behind terms like definite/indefinite and past participle forms was a big wake up call. I hadn't come across those terms in a long time, and it was difficult to remember them on my own. I will be sure to continue to review these terms so that I will be able to employ them with my own students in the future.Modals, Phrasal Verbs and Passive Voice are explained in this Unit. First, the basic rules as well as the different ideas as well as the uses and the formality tone of modal auxiliary verbs, followed by the forms, tenses and uses of the passive voice as well as examples of the Relative clauses and the different types of Phrasal verbs. I found this Unit to be the most challenging one as teaching this grammar point is not the easiest, however, I found the charts very helpful as well as the extensive examples and the teaching ideas.
