I found this third unit of the course to be the freshest and most useful so far. It is also the unit that speaks most to the current occupational deficiency I perceive in myself. As a teacher who has never been a part of a formal training process, I have heavily relied, throughout my teaching years, on my own personal style to lead, manage and facilitate the learning environment, which remains significantly nonscientific and unguided despite the auspicious results it has so far produced.
Every aspect of this unit was, in my view, well-structured, helpful, informative and concise. From the introduction that paid a brief visit to the old foundational methodologies then transitioned into a detailed discussion of the ESA method, to the focus placed on the ESA methodology and the helpful pointers given towards the end, the unit is a good, properly structured and instructional read of which a great deal can be transferred to the classroom.
