Overall this unit discussed the various conditionals as well as the reporting of direct speech. Both of these subjects are rather nuanced which makes the understanding of them rely on minute details, thereby making the explanation of how to properly use them rather difficult. I found this particularly difficult overall so this lesson's guidance was very useful. This section discusses the zero, first, second, third and mixed conditionals. As well, it details how to properly change verb tenses when direct speech becomes reported, or indirect speech.This unit could be quite overwhelming to most students as it is so chock full of information and perhaps phonetic script is new for most. Fortunately, I studied Linguistics in college so this material was already familiar to me. It was a fantastic refresher course for me, and I will truly make use of the chart provided. I was able to easily answer the phonetic script questions with no trouble. I really love teaching pronunciation. I teach online so I am mainly having to rely on demonstration with my own mouth. The students love the instruction!
