Similarly, the usage of phrasal verbs and the passive voice are often used incorrectly.This unit helps to clearly explain these facts to some extent. Teachers can selectively teach these grammar points with appropriate ESL teaching methods. This will enhance students understanding of these concepts and improve their daily spoken English.This unit discussed teaching vocabulary, grammar, and language functions using the ESA method. As with prior sections, the most informative and useful aspects were the specific lessons and techniques used for engaging students and for giving them opportunities to use what is learned. I especially appreciated the importance of role-play and communication games in the activation of newly acquired vocabulary, grammar, and language functions.
