This section is about prononciation and phonology in the English language. Phonology deals with linguistics concerned with the systematic organization of sounds in languages and focuses largely on the study of the systems of phonemes in the English language. Prononciation deals with the utterance of speech: The way of speaking a word, especially a way that is accepted or generally understood and/or A graphic representation of the way a word is spoken, using phonetic symbols.While it's often easier for some to pick up a language through conversation, taking that into writing can be challenging. Students may have a difficult time writing letters if their language uses a totally different system for word structure. Having patience with students and not being too focused on perfection can be helpful, taking note of things to address later. Overall this is another layer of skills to use in the classroom with students as they develop language skills.
