This unit helps us to understand the common problem we face during teaching. It gives us techniques to built rapport with the children. Helps the teacher understand how to handle the 1st class when in a new group or in an existing group.It tell us about the different warmer activities one can use to maintain the attention of the students in class.Gives the teacher tips of handling larger classes.It also talks about when a student uses his native language in the class. It gives us techniques to handle children who have difficulty in listening to text.This unit was very helpful in that it provided an alternative for inexperienced teachers by suggesting the use of a variety of course books in order to guide the directions and pace of the lessons. Also, it discussion about the different factors which might help to determine whether such a resource should be employed for the purposes of the lesson were helpful. Finally, the ways in which course books and materials can be used while simultaneously modified to vary the lessons and at times make them more interesting or relevant was an interesting idea.
