From sentence structure to the purposes that individual elements of a sentence serve, Unit 2 deals with specific and overarching information that will be absolutely necessary for any English teacher to understand readily. While one may not specifically be teaching a grammar course to first-time learners of the English language, English teachers must have a deep knowledge of the structure of English in order to teach effectively.
