I found this unit to be one of the most extensive and complex so far but also one of the most informative. It covered English phonetics and pronunciation, and their vitality in being taught to those trying to master English as a new language. A variety of topics fall under these subjects including stress, intonation (volume and pitch), syllables, sound joining, the phonemic alphabet and symbols, articulation, and of course how to incorporate all of this into your teaching methods.I have really enjoyed seeing the reflection between my class in Spanish at school, and seeing the tools reflected in your program as well. Although, my first Spanish class was taught by a lecturing kind of professor, and was difficult to focus in, my most recent professor is more engaging and versatile in her methods, and I can actually see the development and momentum of my engagement has actually facilitated composure in the new language for me! I sometimes think in Spanish now!
