Undertaking this unit has shed light on how to correctly form a sentence and for the reasons of using particular phrases and words. Today's language has been altered in its usage by pseudowords, texting language, laziness in speech, migration of people to other countries and/or lack of knowledge of correct forms. I previously thought I had a very good command of English but having read through this unit, I now understand the rules for grammar and more so am more prepared to teach it correctly.I found this unit very interesting and enlightening when thinking about how to engage with students so that they can be more interested and interactive in a lesson, and in turn help create a better learning atmosphere. It also helped me to realize that it is very important to understand the different difficulties students face, and to not overwhelm them while providing them with a suitable challenge. Also by trying to get them enthused with the topic to cultivate a better learning environment.
