This unit covered the very basics of lesson planning. One of the key things to learn is that there is no set method of lesson planning, but even so there are objectives that should be covered in a lesson plan. It is important that the teacher have a general idea of what they are trying to teach, and anticipate how this subject should be addressed and any problems that should arise. It is also important for the teacher to analyze their own teaching style as they go through the lesson plan, to call out any problem areas.Unit 2 is about the parts of speech of the English language. It covers nouns, adjectives, verbs, articles, adverbs, pronouns, prepositions, gerunds, and conjunctions. Being a native English speaker I usually don't think about the rules, but I always knew when someone would say something strange. For example, with the adjectives rule-size, age, color, material and noun. If someone said \"the old, brown, big chair\" I would think that it's strange without knowing why. Now I know the reason that it's usually in this pattern.
