The relationship between teacher and students is an important key of the learning process. The attitude of the teacher will have a profound effect on the success of the lesson. A teacher has to provide a friendly learning environment, which makes the students feel comfortable and willing to answer without feeling intimidated or being afraid of making mistakes. A teacher has to provide students with clear information, modeling, offering example, using pictures, gestures or miming.I'm really enjoying the parts in this course that state that some issues are out of your control, like issues outside of the classes room and instead of disciplining students who struggle with bad attention spans, get them to do some work with you. Like hand out sheets (sort of like a teachers assistant). If more teachers used positive reinforcement instead of negative for students who are just a bit young to keep concentrating, then maybe less young learners would lose interest.
