In unit 11 i learned that there are 4 skills in learning a language but this unit specifically covered the receptive skills. When we read or listen for entertainment, we don't concentrate or focus as much because we are focusing on a topic but in a relaxed manner. When we read or listen for detailed instructions like directions to a specific location, we are concentrating and focusing more to be able to grasp and digest every piece of information that might be vital in reaching your destination.This unit is pretty straightforward, definitely learned some about external testing and the myriad of options and opportunities a person has for pursuing English as a foreign language.
