Personally I can relate to positive teaching, someone that makes me think I can do it. Almost everyone lacks a certain degree of self confidence. Promotion of I should know the material when I'm not sure I do know the material only enhances the belief that I don't know the material. I know how I feel when I'm talked down to, and I'll do everything I can to help the student to feel comfortable, and confident to participate in the classroom, without feeling pressure to do so.This unit, like the present tense unit, can be split up into sections. There are 4 aspects to the past tense: simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous. The past tense can get a little confusing because there are more irregular versions of verbs, and so more combinations of ways to become confused. The main idea from this unit is that the past tense forms are meant to describe certain situations that have happened and how to phrase them to be as specific as possible.
