This unit tells me the differences between three categories. Such as course book is up to date so it might make the kids not interested in the topic. Secondly, authentic materials they are realistic and so more interesting and motivating for the kids to learn. Lastly, created materials is letting the teacher to use their creativity to let the kids more interested in the topic. However, in those three categories I think Created Materials is the best way to teach the kids because teachers could use their abilities and thoughts to design the way to teach.In this unit, I learned all about the different types of materials and equipment that a teacher can use in the classroom. These are, for example, cassette recorders, CD players, worksheets, DVDs, dictionaries, and more. I learned about their advantages and disadvantages and was provided a few ideas on how to involve them in the classroom. A long and detailed list of online resources was provided, which I found helpful. There may always be students who are interested in immersing on their own, and it would be nice to be able to recommend a few websites.
