This unit deals with vocabulary grammar and functions.The four important things students need to do with a new language.Here we learn that grammar and vocabulary are both important tools for student learning.We also learned what should be considered when choosing vocabulary ,what students need to know and what techniques need to be used when teaching.Also with grammar,we need to know which grammar structures to introduce and teaching techniques for presenting and practising them.This unit explained the parts of speech, their usage and functions in a sentence. It has refreshed me with my grammar foundation and made me better understand each part. I have also learned new rules such as in superlative adjectives, the number of syllables of the adjective matters. In the past, i just relied to my memory (as we were taught to memorize the) as to the adjectives that use more and most instead of adding er or est in forming their comparative and superlative degree.
