This unit has been excellent for me, as I am starting again at the school I teach at next week, so this lesson has been perfect in learning how to plan lessons and tips and tricks, I have found that it is very important to be flexible with lessons, because you never know what kind of mood/situation your class will be in, i.e maybe you have planned a lesson for 40 students and then only 5 show up, you will have to improvise and add to the lesson.This unit looked at the structure and reasons behind lesson plans. Lesson plans need to designed for three main reasons: aid in planning, record keeping and as a document that can be molded later. I felt that the template provided is quite long and complex. I am sure with time I will learn how to use the template more efficiently and time effectively. It is important to have a flexible lesson plan as many interruptions can occur during a lesson.
