This unit is about teaching a new language, ?t presented different techniques for teaching vocabulary, grammar structure, and language function with examples of ESA methods that a teacher can use in the classroom for effective learning. All the information I learned in this unit is very helpful, such as the effective way to teach new languages to the students, what to consider when choosing a vocabulary to teach and what technique to use. Also, the lesson plan ideas are very useful to me since I'm a new teacher.Unit 9 takes a look at the lesson planning. First, the unit describes what the planning should and should not be in itself . Then, it gets a wider view on the elements that the planning should include. Finally, it suggests an example of a lesson planning, including an straight arrow ESA lesson. In my opinion, there are two important advices: keep it simple, and make it flexible. These two advices come from the idea that the learners are the center of any lesson, and we have to adapt our planning to their reality.
