In unit 11 the receptive skills were looked into. The two receptive skills are reading and listening. Both skills are very important, but listening is more difficult, as you generally only hear things once. When reading, however, you may read the passage as many times as it takes to understand it's meaning. One of the main ways to improve your students receptive skills is to plan activities that interest them so they will be engaged in the material.after completing my final unit I have gained a lot of knowledge on methods, tips and activities to shape me into an ESL teacher. during unit 20 I have understood the potential problem teachers face and as a new teacher, this unit was very helpful to me. having different levels in a classroom will always be a guarantee and so unit 20 has shared excellent information for me to use when teaching different levels low and high. many thanks for everything
