This Unit taught me all about lesson planning and also the best method to teach English to foreign students. Giving history on the methods used as well. It gave a clear explanation of each stage and also activity ideas. The games they provide for the engage stage gave me a practical way to understand what this stage is about. The methods used to teach was a great foundation for teaching the language. It also assisted in the correct way to implement correction and feedback.This lesson talks about the importance and how to plan a lesson plan. At the beginning of the unit we are told the important functions of writing a lesson plan which include an aid to planning, a working document and a record. We learn the basic principles of writing a lesson plan like keeping it simple, structuring and maintaining that structure and checking for a balance in the various skills used. The unit further illustrates what should be illustrated in a lesson plan.
