I will have to agree that the future tense is the most complex of the tenses covered in this material. The future simple and future perfect continuous are for me the easier of the future forms to understand. The simple tense, using shall/will plus the verb is used to describe things such as future facts, predictions, promises and assumptions. For example: Christmas will be here in 2 months (future fact). The future perfect continuous takes will + have been + a verb ending in \"-ing\" to describe how long something will have continued by a certain time. For example: By this time next month, she will have been pregnant for 6 months. Other future tenses include future perfect, future continuous, and the verb \"be going\" plus the infinitive. Future perfect example: In February, I will have lived here three years. Future Continuous example: Will you be coming to the wedding? \"Be-going\" plus infinitive example: He is going to move next week.
