The unit content touches on theories and teaches methods and techniques for presenting, engaging and reaching students in different ways -- or as in the session: Engage, Study and Activate. In learning about the different ESA lesson formats, the Patchwork makes the most sense for helping students to have a more complete understandings what they are learning about and allows for a more \"open\" way to learn on differing levels enabling each student to grasp parts of the lesson as individual learners and gain confidence as the lesson progresses. The suggested ideas for Engaging, Studying and Activating are dynamic and engaging, but also provide a basis for additional creativity when it comes to planning lessons, to better keep it exciting and engaging. This unit was very interesting and informative and provided much insight to methods and techniques for teaching, but also and very importantly, to help students be successful in learning.
