I think I have learned a lot from this unit in the area of student evaluation or assessment. First and foremost it talks about Tutorials as well as Evaluation by the students themselves, the former which it is said the teacher might likely not conduct but its said that it can be useful or helpful to spend sometime with the students. The later its were a survey is conducted amongst the students for them to respond to the course they did, this way the teacher would know if what he taught the students is understood. Also the unit also reveal about the different types of test such as placement , test, diagnostic and process test which are all conducted in the school. The unit also talked about external exams such TOEFL , IELTS, TOEIC as well as the Cambridge assessment. In conclusion I would like to say that this unit has helped me to have a better understanding of the various evaluations that are conducted at various levels and their purposes.
