As teachers, we usually follow course books being used by the school, but as an effective teachers, one shouldn't just depend onf the course book itself. Teachers should also use some authentic and created materials to supplement the course book to make the lessons more interesting and motivating for the students to learn.These different authentic and created materials also make the students to enjoy the learning process and make them to be more active in engaging during the lesson.In this lesson I also learned some factors in using the course book. Since using course bok is common in most schools, teachers should know when to use or not a created materials. Teachers should know which items from the course book that will motivate the students, and which need to be supllemented. Teachers should also explore ways to match the book to the needs of the students. An effective teachers should know how to try out new ideas and vary the activities.
