From the get go the first lesson made me so uncomfortable. It was possible to tell almost immediately that the lesson was not going to go well. The instructor was condescending, spoke way too quickly and in an unclear tone, didn't properly explain a single thing, and seemed like he all around didn't want to be there. That attitude was reflected immediately by the students, who seemed intimidated and uncomfortable. I nearly breathed an audible sigh of relief upon starting the second video. The instructors attitude was completely opposite. He was warm, inviting, non judgmental, and seemed to truly want to be there to help and teach. Once again, that attitude was reflected immediately by students, who were active, engaged, and even smiling at points. I think this unit did a very effective job at highlighting the importance of the teachers attitude, and was incredibly helpful to actually watch a full and successfully carried out lesson.
