This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
When we report conditionals and statements that refer to unreal situations, some tenses and modals may change if the reported words are no longer true or are out-of-date. When we report zero conditionals, the following tense changes may occur. If John is cursing, it means that he is very angry. Direct speech is a representation of the actual words someone said while Reported or indirect speech is usually used to talk about the past, so we normally change the tense of the words spoken. We use reporting verbs like 'say', 'tell', 'ask', and we may use the word 'that' to introduce the reported words.
To sum up this idea of conditional and reported speech, all are normal daily circumstances that occur as nature. All aren’t same on the planet so conditional phrases must be used by some to tell their minds, reported speeches, be them direct or indirect must also be used. One cant be every where like air to know what took place in other places.
