Depending on one's own personality and the culture with which one is teaching, there are various methodologies that a teacher is able to use in order to ensure that the students are learning the English language to their full extent. To do so, one must engage the students before exposing them to the subject of study by using many different forms to arouse the student's interest. Then, through a variation of the study and activation processes, the students are able to learn, understand, and apply their new English language concepts to a variety of activities and situations. Furthermore, in order to ensure the student's development within the learning process of the English language, the teacher must be able to allow for self-correction, then correction between the students, and lastly, correction between the teacher and the student. By doing so, the student has the ability to learn their own mistakes without the immediate help of the teacher.
