It's easy to see from this example what a difference teacher attitude can have on students. In the first example the teacher was stern, unapproachable and disinterested. The teacher was talking too fast and unclear in the first example. The teacher made better use of gestures, built rapport with the students and was more approachable in the second lesson. The students, in turn, were able to feel more at ease and motivated toward learning the lesson.This unit has shown me various ways to conduct a lesson, not just a straight linear lesson formula that may become boring for the students over time. It has highlighted the need to incorporate correct English learning in an environment that is interesting and enjoyable as well as informative for the student. It has also shown me the correct ways and times to correct a student which again is essential to perform correctly so as not to sap motivation.
