Planning a lesson and the necessary material is really important. Also, being flexible within the lesson. Chaotic teachers or inflexible teachers can make the learning experience more difficult, especially for beginners. The examples of materials in the unit were a pleasant surprise and it helped to visualize way more what kind of exercise we could do. I think, especially activities that include pictures, are more suitable for beginner students.In this unit, we learned that a teacher is more than just an instructor. The teacher plays many different roles in a classroom and we have to be considerate of all the different aspects of teaching. This also includes what kind of classes we will be teaching, whether it is a one to one session or a lesson taught to a group of students. It is good to know, so I can be a more flexible teacher and to execute my lessons in the most efficient manner.
