The last unit of the course! This was a good wrap up unit, as I am very aware that there will be many challenges to come when teaching English. Going over major troubleshooting issues not only helps anticipate and prepare for any obstacles in the classroom, it also eases my own thoughts on what to expect as a beginner teacher myself. Knowing that I will of course experience many ups and downs throughout my time encourages me to work as hard as I can to motivate my classes as much as possible and support them throughout their English language endeavors.The unit provides many useful skills for classroom arrangement. From the eye contact of the teacher to the classroom setting, the managing skills are workable. For instance, I tried to ask the name Of a student which should be used at the end of the question, not at the start; it can keep the whole class alert. The teacher talking time(TTT) and student talking time(STT) are important to be balanced, but teachers in Chinese tend to spend much time in TTT to explain concept. It reminded me to arrange enough STT in the lesson plan. I like this unit.
