Conditials are the sentences containing if and when, referring to past , present and future. There are two parts in such sentences - main and if clause. We can distinguish 5 types of conditionals - zero conditional, first conditional, second, third and mixed.
Unit 16 also covers Reported speech and direct speech. When we convert a direct speech into an indirect speech we should use backshifting. Present tenses become past and time expressions are also changed.Today i learnt about pronunciation and how important it is for students when learning the English language. I learnt what inotation is and some good ways of teaching it.I learned what stress and lack of stress are and some teaching techniques that can be used in the classroom to teach students. I learnt about the phonemic alphabet and learned the various symbols used. Lastly i learnt about pronunciation and a lot of areas within the pronunciation teaching area.
