Following are some of the resources often found in classrooms and study centers: white/ black board; interactive whiteboard; overhead projector; visual aids; worksheets and work cards; cassette recorder; CD player; videos and DVDs; video camera; dictionaries; course books; resource books; photocopier; computers; online resources. Each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages. Many different teaching aids can be used to make lessons more interesting, effective and less dependent on the textbook.AS A NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKER, I FIND PHRASAL VERBS VERY CHALLENGING. I'VE SAY IN LESSONS INVOLVING PHRASAL VERBS BEING TAUGHT TO FOREIGN STUDENTS, AND IT CAN BE VERY CONFUSING. THERE REALLY IS NO RHYME OR REASON, THEY JUST ARE. ALSO, THEY ARE USED VERY OFTEN IN SPEAKING. IN MY OPINION, THEY ARE VERY CASUAL. I USE THEM WITHOUT THINKING. I UNDERSTAND THEY CAN BE CONFUSING. I HAVE SPOKEN WITH MY NON ENGLISH SPEAKING FRIENDS AND THEY HAVE TOLD ME HOW DIFFICULT THEY ARE. BUT, FUN AND CREATIVE LESSONS CAN BE USED WHEN TEACHING PHRASAL VERBS AND PASSIVE VOICE.
