A first lesson in a new school with a new system is just as nerve wrecking for any teacher. Try not show your nerves, try to get to know the students and let them get to know you as well. Use interesting or fun methods to do this, it will relax the students. Find out things that interest them, try to figure out what their English ability/level is.

The biggest challenges have come from the differences between forms and usages between the four aspects. For example, I have found myself often confusing the present continuous and the present perfect continuous.
